Such things are dangerous! Someone’s going to get them out of my home. Seriously, do not. They’re just too good, I can’t give them up. When they are gone, I will maintain a daily diet until I can’t make any promises.
Why are these things so unbelievably good? Well, they’re inspired first of all by German chocolate cake, so how couldn’t they be good? Secondly, they are perfectly fudgy and chewy (just how I like my brownies) and then they have the correct level of intensity of chocolate to be classified as German chocolate. My first batch- too intensely chocolatey, waayyyy. Good, but not meant for these. The sweet topping of coconut-pecan that covers these adds amazing texture and then takes brownies to the next level. Topping free brownies may begin to seem rather boring when you make them your basic this way.
