“Simple Chicken Dinner” takes on a whole new purpose with Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry. It’s simple, but the end result is flavorful and sure to please! It’s also a healthy chicken recipe that will help you stick to your New Year’s resolutions.
Bite-sized pieces of Chinese chicken and broccoli are stir-fried till golden brown in this stir-fry. The broccoli is then cooked until tender, and the chicken and broccoli are then tossed in a teriyaki sauce.
It has such a delicious combination of flavors, and without all the fried and high calories, it is sure to put a stop to the Chinese take-out cravings. For a weeknight dinner.
With this, what am I intended to serve?
As a healthier option, you may serve with white rice but serve with brown rice or cauliflower rice.
Is it okay if I use frozen broccoli in this recipe?
You might want to use frozen broccoli florets in this recipe; just allow sure to fully heat them according to the package directions. The excess liquid should then be drained.
How do I make sodium adjustments?
To taste, add a little more soy sauce if desired; everyone enjoys a little saltiness. I advise adding a small amount of extra soy sauce at a time, as this would quickly overpower this stir-fry!
