I may have called these Healthier “Date” Brownies but then like 99.99% of you would not be wanting to try them right? So instead if we leave out the “date” and just think of them as a healthier brownie that tastes amazing and do not focus on the dates in them they are not we all in?

I recently bought a date sweetened brownie at the store and liked it so I decided to do a homemade version.
Surprisingly enough you do not really taste the dates and you don’t notice that these are healthier. They are still super fudgy, amazingly chocolatey, so rich, and they have a good texture.
Believe it or not, my friends actually loved these brownies. That’s proof that these are so perfect because my friends and who are we kidding I MYSELF, can be picky and we all approved.

1 cup + 2 Tbsp (110g) superfine almond flour (spoon then level to measure)
1/2 cup (43g) unsweetened cocoa powder, spoon then level
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 cup (170g) pitted Medjool dates (about 11)
1/4 cup (80g) honey
1/4 cup (60g) coconut oil, melted
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1/4 cup (42g) mini semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
