French Toast Recipe
One of my favorite breakfast foods is the French Toast Recipe. The perfect ratio of milk to eggs is in my recipe, and a little cream gives it a delicious richness. Plus, for a taste no one can resist, it has plenty of vanilla and cinnamon.

1 Tbsp of granulated sugar
2 tsp of vanilla extract

– Whisk the eggs with the cinnamon in a large shallow dish and then add the milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla and whisk to blend well.
—The butter griddle just before you add the bread.
– Working with one slice of bread at a time, dipping bread into the mixture (if brioche dip is used quickly, it may take a little longer to soak hearty French bread), flipping and dipping the opposite side.
– Place on the griddle, cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3 minutes, then flip and cook on the other side until the bottom is golden brown, about 3 minutes longer, then serve warm with maple syrup.
