You might just have noticed if you’ve been around here for a while, that I definitely favor savory recipes over sweet ones. It’s not that I don’t have a sweet tooth, and yet baking really doesn’t come as naturally to me as making bolognese sauce or soup. That’s why, like chocolate cake pops and these no-bake cookies, I gravitate toward easy dessert recipes.
To start making the tart crust, a few essential ingredients are used: almond flour, ground flax, vanilla, and a bit of salt. Because both flaxseed and almond flour have natural fats, no added oils are required. Tarts are usually done with a pie crust, but I hate making a pie crust with TBH. Busting a rolling pin is obviously not fun. This crust is mixed together, then afterward pressed into a tart tin. It’s very easy and simple.

Ingredients
Crust
2 tbsp of ground flax seed
6 tbsp of cold water
1 3/4 cup of fine almond flour
1 tsp of vanilla extract
pinch of salt
Vanilla Cream Filling
3/4 tsp of agar powder
1 tbsp of corn starch
2 tbsp of almond milk or your favorite plant milk
1 of coconut cream 13.6 oz
1/3 cup of organic sugar
1 tbsp of vanilla extract
1 tbsp of lemon juice
Topping
2 cups of chopped strawberries
1-2 tbsp of sweetener
