Tastier than a naughty takeaway like this and incredibly simple to make. It’s yummy, it’s salty, it’s crispy, it’s sticky, and it’s a bit spicy-it covers all the bases of one of the recipes that almost everyone polishes off.
Another one in the Honey Archives is this crispy sesame chicken. It covers all the bases for one of those recipes that everyone polishes: yummy, salty, crispy, sticky, and a little spicy. No scrap is left.
I loooooooove this as a Friday night alternative to a takeaway. I really can’t ignore that it’s not the healthiest meal—with honey and brown sugar, and, of course, a little bit of oil to chopping up that chicken, but it’s also a lot better than taking it out. With some steamed broccoli and sugar snap peas, I end up serving mine only to boost the health factor.
