Orange Loaf Cake
A yummy orange loaf cake made with fresh orange juice, orange zest, and oil that tastes like a butterless pound cake.

INGREDIENTS
1 ½ cups (300g) of granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 cup (240ml) of canola oil
Zesty of 2 oranges
1 cup (240ml) of orange juice
2 ½ cups (350g) of all-purpose flour
2 ½ teaspoon (10g) of baking powder
For finishing the cake
½ cup (120ml) of orange juice
2 tablespoon/20g of Powdered sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat the oven to 325⁰F/160⁰C A 9×5-inch loaf pan greased. To avoid sticking to the sides, sprinkle them with granulated sugar.
2. Combine the eggs, granulated sugar, oil, orange zest, and orange juice in a bowl till mixed.
3. Mix the flour, baking powder, and mix well in another bowl, then add this dry ingredient to the wet mixture till mixed.
4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes or until the cake is golden in color and once it is inserted, the toothpicks come out clean.
5. This will keep the cake moist to complete the cake brush with orange juice, then dust it with powdered sugar if you really want, I didn’t.
NOTES
*Add all-purpose flour, baking powder and combine well in a bowl, and set it aside.
