Pasta Skillet Recipe

Pasta Skillet Recipe

It’s a skillet pasta recipe supper and it just takes around 30 minutes to pull together.

INGREDIENTS

For the marinara sauce (or substitute 2 1/2 to 3 cups store-bought sauce):

1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 cups (180g) diced red onions
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 28-oz. (795g) can of crushed tomatoes
1 tablespoon honey or sugar
1/4 cup (5g) chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup (5g) chopped fresh basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano

For the pasta:

8 ounces (225g) penne pasta
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound (450g) chicken sausage, cut into bite-sized pieces
4 or 6 cups (100g to 150g) baby spinach
1 1/2 cups (140g) shredded mozzarella cheese
Chopped parsley, to garnish

METHOD

1. Preheat the stove to 350F.

2. Make the marinara sauce (or substitute locally acquired sauce): Heat 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil in a vast stove safe sauté dish over medium-high warmth. Include the onions and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, blending sometimes, until the point that the onions are diminished and translucent. Include the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Include squashed tomatoes and cook until the point that the sauce begins rising at a quick stew, 1 to 2 minutes.

3. Decrease warmth to low and give the sauce a chance to proceed gradually stewing for 5 to 7 minutes, blending once in a while. Blend in nectar, parsley, basil, and oregano and cook for one more moment. Season sauce with salt to your taste. Kill warm. (Makes 2 1/2 to 3 glasses; holds 4 to 5 days refrigerated or 3 months solidified.)

4. Cook the pasta: Bring 2 quarts of water to bubble in a pot. Season with a liberal squeeze of salt. When the water bubbles, include pasta and cook for 7 to 9 minutes, contingent upon how you like your pasta. Deplete and run pasta under virus water. Put aside.

5. Make the wiener and spinach sauce: Heat 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil in a vast skillet over medium-high warmth. Include hacked hotdog and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, until the point when the meat is cooked through. Include pasta sauce and warmth for a moment. Include spinach and overlap it into the sauce. The spinach should begin shriveling in 30 seconds.

6. Bake the pasta: Add pasta to the dish and blend until joined. Top with mozzarella cheddar. Put the skillet in the broiler and heat for 10 to 12 minutes until the point when the cheddar is bubbly and marginally sautéed at the edges. For a faster option, avoid the broiler and simply mix the cheddar into the pasta until the point that the cheddar is liquefied.

7. Top the pasta with slashed parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
