Ingredients
4 medium of skinless, boneless chicken breasts
4 cups of chicken stock
1 clove of garlic minced
1 medium of onion diced
1 (15-ounce) of can white beans, drained
1 (4-ounce) of can dice green chilis, with liquids from chilis
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1 teaspoon of ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
1 teaspoon of chopped fresh oregano
Instructions:
Stovetop White Chicken Chili Recipe.
1. Over medium heat, add chicken to a 4-quart, heavy-bottomed Dutch oven or stockpot. Add the chicken stock and cook for almost 15 minutes, till tender.
2. Shred two forks of chicken and then add them back to the soup. It is added to the stockpot with garlic and onion, white beans, green chilis, dried oregano, cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, and chopped fresh oregano. Till well-combined, stir. Taste and adjust to your desire for flavor.
3. Simmer for almost 5 minutes over low heat. Remove and serve.
Slow Cooker White Chicken Chili Recipe
1. Add a 6-quart slow cooker with chicken, chicken stock, garlic, onion, chilis, oregano, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
2. Cook, on low, about 8 hours. Shred two forks of chicken and stir in the white beans and fresh oregano and cook for yet another 10 minutes. And serve.
Instant Pot White Chicken Chili Recipe
1. Add the chicken, chicken stock, garlic, onions, beans, chili, oregano, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the Instant Pot, and seal the cover with the vent close.
2. Set the High-Pressure Instant Pot for around 20 minutes. Enable the pressure to release naturally for ten min and then carefully use the fast release using a potholder.
3. From the Instant Pot, remove the lid and shred the chicken using two forks. To combine all the ingredients and stir, then SERVE.
