Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients
1 stick of unsalted butter (1/2 cup), room temperature
1 cup of brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
3-4 very ripe bananas, mashed frozen bananas are PERFECT; they’re extra sweet
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of dark chocolate chips
Instructions
1. preheat your oven to 350F.
2. Line a 9×5 loaf pan with parchment paper, ensuring that the parchment hangs over the loaf pan’s sides.
3. After baking, this will help you to remove the loaf easily. Spray and set aside with nonstick spray.
4. Cream the butter and sugar together in a big bowl for around 2 minutes until smooth.
5. Then whisk the mashed bananas and vanilla into the egg. Mix until well mixed, scraping down the sides of the bowl.
6. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and baking powder. Mix until they’re just mixed. Take care not to over-mix. The chocolate chips folded in.
7. In the loaf pan, pour the mixture into it. Bake till a knife inserted in the middle of the loaf comes out clean, for around 1h.
8. Leave it to cool for at least 30 mins before serving. Enjoy!

This recipe makes 1 loaf, around12 slices, based on how thick/thin you cut the slices.
