And let’s not forget those amazing cookies are swirled with the abundance of decadent semi-sweet chocolate chips, they just take them over the top!
They are a kind of cookie that is soft, cakey, melt-in-your-mouth. An original everybody’s going to love and ask for and again! When they are around, I know I can’t resist.
They have a unique, amazing flavor and are simple to make treats.
Tips for Pumpkin Cookies With Chocolate Chip:
For the best consistency, use canned pumpkin (not fresh). And do not use “pumpkin pie filling” canned, it has sweeteners and spices added.
When desired, substitute mini chocolate chips.
Do not grease line baking sheets or cookies will spread and brown too much.
Don’t mix the dough too much. If you add the flour, do not overdo it or it will flatter the cookies.
Expect the dough to be sticky. That is how, instead of rolling it, we just drop the dough.
Be cautious not to under-bake the cookies or else they will taste raw, or they will be not soft and moist, or they will not over-bake.
Can I Use Pumpkin Pie Spice Instead?
You can definitely use pumpkin pie spice instead if you don’t have all the spices here. Use 2 1/2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice and skip cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
