Ingredients

  • 8 thin boneless skinless chicken breast cutlets around 3 ounces each

For the Marinade:

  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds plus more for garnish
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 Tsp fresh ginger peeled and minced
  • 1 Tsp honey
  • 2 Tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions minced
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together all the marinade ingredients.
  • Place the chicken in a dish and pour the marinade over it, making sure to coat the pieces evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or overnight for the best flavor.
  • When ready to cook, preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-low heat and oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  • Start grilling the chicken with the top side down. Cook for 3 minutes until it’s nicely browned and charred, then flip it over and grill for another 3 minutes. Keep an eye on it to avoid burning.
  • Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a serving platter and sprinkle with sesame seeds and scallions for garnish.
