Ingredients
1 1/2cupsheavy whipping cream
1cupgrated Parmesan cheese
2cupsshredded deli rotisserie chicken
3cupsProgresso™ chicken brothfrom 32-oz carton
8ozuncooked ziti pasta2 1/2 cups
3/4cupfrozen sweet peas
2Tbspbutter
2Tspfinely chopped garlic
1/4Tspsalt
1/4Tsppepper
Chopped Italianflat-leaf parsley, if desired
Instructions
Melt the butter in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat, then add the garlic. Stir constantly for about a minute, just until it becomes fragrant.
Pour in the broth, add the pasta, and season with salt and pepper. Bring everything to a boil, then lower the heat to medium.
Cook uncovered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
Pour in the whipping cream and sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese, stirring over medium-high heat for 3 minutes until the sauce is bubbly and smooth.
Add the chicken and frozen sweet peas, and cook for another 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until everything is warmed through and well combined.
Let stand for 5 minutes to set before serving. Finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
