Ingredients

  • 1 homemade pizza crust
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 ounces of cream cheese softened cut to small pieces
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese and a little extra for topping on the pizza
  • 1/4 tsp each salt and freshly ground black pepper, or more to taste
  • 1 cup cooked chicken chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella chee

Instructions

Make the Sauce:

  • Melt butter in a saucepan on medium heat.
  • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Put in cream cheese and stir until smooth.
  • Slowly add milk while stirring until smooth.
  • Mix in parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

Prepare the Pizza Crust:

  • Roll or stretch the pizza dough into a big circle.
  • If it's thick crust, pre-bake it for 4-5 minutes at 425°F. Skip this step for thin crust.

Assemble the Pizza:

  • Spread alfredo sauce over the crust.
  • Add a thin layer of mozzarella cheese, followed by chopped chicken, more mozzarella, and a sprinkle of extra parmesan cheese.

Bake:

  • Bake at 425°F for 8-12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Preparation Tip: Plan ahead by making the pizza dough a few hours before you plan to bake. Let it rise in the refrigerator until ready to use. Additionally, you can prepare the alfredo sauce in advance and store it in the refrigerator for 1-2 days.
Freezing Tip: If you'd like to freeze the pizza, you have two options. You can freeze the dough either baked or unbaked. When you're ready to use it, simply let it thaw on the counter, then top it with sauce and your desired toppings.
