Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast cut into 1 inch thin chunks
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 3/4 cup cornstarch or sub Mochiko Sweet Rice Flour
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk the egg whites until they become foamy, about 1-2 minutes. Then, whisk in the cornstarch and water until well combined. Finally, gently fold in the chicken, coating it thoroughly.
  • In a large pot, heat three inches of oil over medium-high heat to 350°F. Fry the chicken pieces in two batches, cooking each batch for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, honey, and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  • Just before serving, toss the freshly fried chicken in the sauce until evenly coated.
