Servings 18
- 3 eggs
- 150 grams butter about 2/3 cup
- 120 grams dark chocolate about 4.2 ounces or 3/4 cup chopped
- 150 grams sugar about 3/4 cup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 60 grams flour about 1/2 cup
- Pinch of salt
- 40 grams unsweetened cocoa powder about 1/3 cup
- 50 grams chocolate chips about 1/4 cup
For the coating:
- 200 grams milk chocolate about 7 ounces or 1 cup chopped
- 40 grams crushed almonds about 1/3 cup
First, gently melt the chocolate and butter together in the microwave until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, vanilla, and sugar until nice and creamy.
Fold in the chocolate mixture, then stir in the flour and cocoa until everything is combined.
Sprinkle in the chocolate chips and give it one last gentle mix.
Pour the batter into a 9x9 pan and bake in a preheated oven at 350F for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Once itβs done, let it cool completely before cutting into squares.
Finally, dip each square in melted dark chocolate mixed with crushed almonds and let them set aside until the chocolate hardens.
