Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 150 grams butter about 2/3 cup
  • 120 grams dark chocolate about 4.2 ounces or 3/4 cup chopped
  • 150 grams sugar about 3/4 cup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 60 grams flour about 1/2 cup
  • Pinch of salt
  • 40 grams unsweetened cocoa powder about 1/3 cup
  • 50 grams chocolate chips about 1/4 cup

For the coating:

  • 200 grams milk chocolate about 7 ounces or 1 cup chopped
  • 40 grams crushed almonds about 1/3 cup

Instructions

  • First, gently melt the chocolate and butter together in the microwave until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, vanilla, and sugar until nice and creamy.
  • Fold in the chocolate mixture, then stir in the flour and cocoa until everything is combined.
  • Sprinkle in the chocolate chips and give it one last gentle mix.
  • Pour the batter into a 9x9 pan and bake in a preheated oven at 350F for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Once it’s done, let it cool completely before cutting into squares.
  • Finally, dip each square in melted dark chocolate mixed with crushed almonds and let them set aside until the chocolate hardens.
