Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mashed banana
  • 3/4 cup self raising flour you could add a tablespoon more if it's too wet
  • 1 tabelspoon of banana bread spice mix from Spice Tub or spices of choice

  • 2 tabelspoon melted butter use dairy free if needed
  • 1 tabelspoon banana bread spice mix or spices of choice
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar optional
  • melted chocolate optional

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix the mashed banana, flour, and spice mix together.
  • Stir until the dough starts to form.
  • Use your hands to gently knead the dough until it becomes smooth and soft.
  • Divide the dough into 9 equal pieces.
  • Place them in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook at 180°C for 8 minutes.
  • Halfway through cooking, gently shake the basket so they cook evenly on all sides.

Coating

  • In a small bowl, mix the sugar and spice mix together.
  • Brush or dip each piece in melted butter.
  • Roll them in the spiced sugar mixture until fully coated.
  • If you like, drizzle or dip them in melted chocolate. This step is optional.

Notes

  • They taste best when eaten right away while warm.
  • You can store them in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Before eating, warm them slightly so they become soft again.
