Ingredients

For the Brownie

  • 150 g butter
  • 240 g chocolate
  • 3 large eggs
  • About ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • Just under 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

For the Cream

  • 240 g cream cheese Labneh or mascarpone
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee powder
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar or 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Prepare the Brownie:

  • Melt butter in a saucepan, add chocolate, and stir until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until light and creamy.
  • Combine the chocolate mixture with the eggs and sugar.
  • Sift in the flour and cocoa powder; gently fold to combine.
  • Pour batter into a parchment-lined 22 cm (9-inch) baking dish.
  • Bake in a preheated 175°C (350°F) oven for 20–25 minutes.
  • Let cool completely.

Make the Cream:

  • Whip together cream cheese, heavy cream, sugar, coffee powder, and vanilla until firm peaks form.
  • Refrigerate until needed.

Assemble the Tiramisu:

  • Spread the cream evenly over the cooled brownie.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  • Dust generously with cocoa powder before serving.
  • Optional: Lightly soak the brownie with coffee for an extra coffee kick.
