4lbschicken drumsticksor chicken legs
For the marinade
2Tbspolive oil
1Tbspsesame oil
1/4cuplow sodium soy sauce
2TbspWorcestershire sauce
2Tbsplemon juiceor lime juice
5tbsphoneyor maple syrup
6clovesgarlicminced
1-inchginger rootpeeled and grated, or add 1/4 tsp powdered ginger
½tspblack pepperfreshly ground
1tspkosher saltplus more to taste
1/2tspred pepper flakes
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the marinade and mix with a fork. Set aside.

Place the chicken in a Ziploc bag. Add the marinade. Expel as much air from the bag as possible then close. Marinate overnight or up to 24 hours, or at least a few hours.
