Ingredients

  • ½ cup 113g unsalted butter melted and cooled
  • ½ cup 170g Local Hive™ Clover Raw and Unfiltered Honey
  • cups 350g overripe bananas mashed
  • 2 cups 250g all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Set your oven to 350°F. Lightly coat an 8-9 inch loaf pan with nonstick spray, then line it with parchment paper, leaving the edges overhanging for easy removal.
  • In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and honey until smooth. Add the vanilla extract, eggs, and mashed bananas, stirring until everything is well blended.
  • Gently fold the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon into the wet mixture until no dry streaks remain.
  • Transfer the honey banana bread batter into the prepared pan and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the loaf to cool in the pan until it's warm to the touch, then use the parchment paper to carefully lift it out. Enjoy.
