Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts around 1 breast cut into chunks
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 package of Hidden Valley Original Ranch dressing mix
  • 3 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 pound penne pasta
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Season the chicken with salt and pepper and put it in the instant pot.
  • Pour in chicken broth, milk, and ranch seasoning. Stir to mix well. Add pasta and stir again, making sure the noodles are submerged in the liquid.
  • Close the lid tightly and set the valve to sealing.
  • Cook on manual or pressure cook mode at high pressure for 4 minutes.
  • Once done, carefully turn the valve to quick release and open the pot.
  • Stir in cream cheese and cheddar cheese until they melt and blend with the sauce.
  • Let it cool for 5-10 minutes. The sauce will thicken as it cools down.
