  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Lemon Yogurt Sauce

  • 1/2 cup of fat-free plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp heavy cream or whipping cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon finely minced fresh cilantro and more for serving

Instructions

  • Let the salmon sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the coriander, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, ginger, turmeric, nutmeg, and cayenne pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a 12-inch non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the salmon, then rub both sides with the spice mixture.

For the sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix together the yogurt, cream, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, and cilantro. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
