Ingredients
8oz2 2/3 cups uncooked rotini pasta
1lbleanat least 80% ground beef
1/2cupchopped onion
1jar26 oz chunky tomato pasta sauce
1can11 oz Southwestern style corn, undrained
1/2tspsalt
1cup4 oz shredded Cheddar cheese
4medium1/4 cup green onions, sliced, if desired
Instructions
Boil the pasta according to the package instructions, then drain.
While the pasta cooks, heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat and cook the beef and onion, stirring occasionally, until the beef is fully browned, about 8 to 10 minutes.
Drain any excess grease. Add the pasta sauce, corn, salt, and drained pasta to the skillet, stirring well.
Cook until everything is heated through. Sprinkle cheese on top and let it sit for a couple of minutes until melted.
