- 80 g olive or neutral oil
- 65 g apple sauce sub mashed banana
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoon almond/runny nut butter
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ginger powder
- 180 g plain flour
- 1/2 rounded teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- *pinch of salt
frosting:
- 110 ml dairy free whippable cream
- 100 g vegan cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 50 g icing sugar to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 160°C fan and line an 8” square brownie tin with baking paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Whisk in the sugars, oil, nut butter, vanilla, salt, and apple sauce until well combined.
