For the Cake:
- 250 grams of butter at room temperature
- 150 grams 1 cup of brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of golden syrup
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

- 225 grams 1 1/2 cups of self-raising flour
