The Gingerbread Waffles Recipe provides an incredible Christmas breakfast! They are so soft and moist and deliciously spiced and flavorful, that they are just taken to the next incredible level by cream cheese frosting!
They have the perfect balance between rich molasses and warm spices, and for them, there could not be a better finish than that sweet and tangy glaze of cream cheese! These waffles can be served with maple syrup, but I’m pretty sure you’ll like the cream cheese glaze option better. I mean, it’s basically breakfast frosting, so who should complain?
If you plan to serve all these gingerbread waffles at once, keep those who have already cooked in a hot oven while the others are finishing cooking (keep an eye on them though so they do not dry). Hope you enjoy yourself!
