I love that you throw all the ingredients in a single pot with this recipe and everything goes into the Instant Pot and there’s no sautéing beforehand. In the beginning, about 2/3 of the ingredients are added and at the end, you will add the remaining 1/3.

- Low-sodium chicken broth
- Sun-dried tomatoes in oil
- Italian seasoning
- Garlic
- Chicken breasts
- Campanelle pasta
- Baby spinach
- Light cream cheese (regular works too)
- Parmesan
- Fresh basil
- Salt and pepper
Substitutes for this Tuscan Chicken Pasta Recipe
- Frozen spinach that is thawed and drained can replace fresh spinach.
- In place of light, regular cream cheese will work.
- You could substitute another type of bite-size pasta like cavatappi, bowtie, or penne if you can’t find campanelle pasta.
- I’d go with about 3/4 tsp. Garlic powder could replace the fresh one.
- If you do not want to buy fresh basil, add 1 tsp of dried basil together with Italian seasoning.
